"The staff and the islanders were very friendly and helpful. The scenery is spectacular and the is lots of bird watching and easy walks. We had a lovely stay and definitely will be coming back to visit. There is really only one restaurant so if you are staying a long while it is good to have a place with a kitchen option."

"Very comfortable and cozy cottage by the shore with everything we needed as a small group with a young child. Kitchen was well stocked to prepare meals, we were close driving distance to beautiful hikes and vistas. Would definitely return and absolutely recommend. "

"Beautiful location, off the beaten track but short drive to shops & civilisation at Mallaig. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture in a warm and well refurbished cottage. Marion was super helpful and responsive. Couldn’t be happier that I found this little gem. Highly recommended."

"Amazing house and wonderful people. We visited with young children and loved our time here. The house it pretty centrally located to most skye treasures and the hosts did a brilliant job decorating and stocking the place to make it extremely welcoming for us. We loved our time here and would happily return."

"Absolutely amazing location!! Beautiful views out every window! Perfect place to stay for touring the Isle of Skye. While there were a lot of high end (luxury) things in the house, it really isn't meant for 6 adults.Perhaps 4 medium sized people. The rooms were tiny and luggage had to be left in the living room. A single couch isn't enough for 6. The kitchen was pretty small for trying to cook in and the counter stools were too big for sitting in if anybody needed to get anywhere. The sun room...

"Fantastic property with lots of character. Was easy to access with key in a little lockbox, for which we were sent the code. Masses of space, comfy beds and sofas. Well equipped kitchen. Amazing views. We had sheep in the garden one morning.Only issue was as it's an older property there were very few electrical sockets, and those that were there were already filled with electric heater plugs."

"We were 4 and spent a week in this beautiful house located in the center of Skye, the only regret we have is that we didn't reserve longer. The location is perfect (1h drive to go south or north of the island) so we visited à lot! Hosts are very prevenient and the nearest community shop offer what's needed. There is a lot to say but to resume, it was better than expected (even if pictures in description are good, reality was better ;)"

"A beautiful location & house & an extremely well equipped cottage, the owner has thought of a lot with the remote location of the chalet. We were unfortunate to be staying in the cottage during the time of a critical water shortage for the hamlet, this came with restrictions with staying within the house, we would have felt satisfied with this had we been told about all restrictions prior to arrival. We weren’t told we wouldn’t be allowed to shower in the cottage & would be asked to drive 30mins"
