"The Cottar is a cute, quirky and relaxing place to stay. The view is out of this world and the area is very quiet. There is a Co op and petrol station only 8 minutes away. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine and a package of Scottish Fudge. Eoin our host was lovely and we were able to meet him during our stay. We had some troubles with app communication, but email worked very well."

"We absolutely loved our 10 days in Flora's amazing cottage. Check in was simple and hassie free. It was very clean on arrival and was really well equipped with everything you could need for cooking meals. All appliances worked well and were very easy to operate. Very comfy beds, fluffy towels and the shower is amazing! "This house is fantastic. Our favorite property in our month long UK adventure. The house was very clean, beautifully furnished and well equipped. All the appliances worked and the kitchen was spacious and modern. The location in Uig was perfect. Close to the major sights we wanted to see. Skye roads can be challenging and we were so glad this property was easily accessible. Our favorite thing about this house were the spectacular views! We lived our stay here!"

Unfortunately, the overwhelming musty smell from the only communal bathroom with a shower was a huge issue. "Its just exactly as advertised. Four on-suite double bedrooms and another room that comfortably has a double bed. Spectacular views over the Loch, seen an otter one morning going about its business just by the shore next to the house. House very well equipped and clean, great showers and a bath in the downstairs double room. So much to see and do around the area, property is in a woodland with walks marked out. Just cant recomend this holiday home enouhg. "
