"The place is older and hasn't seen the best of maintenance in recent years it seems. The door to the bathroom in our room did not close due to misalignment. The shower stall had mold in the corners. The room itself smelled and felt damp. Nobody on site to complain to so we lived with it. Considering our experience and what was paid we would not come back unless other options were booked up. Yes the place is cheaper than a lot in the area however it was still overpriced in our eyes."

"The room is clean but small. We could smell the coffee from our room when breakfast begins at 7pm. There is no refrigerator in our room, which is fine for us, as it is not hot summer yet. "Lovely cosy cottage called “The Wee Cottage”. It was not so “wee” and was exactly as described with a direct view on the harbour. Perfect spot to do our Skye tour and then conveniently leave east the next morning!"

"Greshornish was a beautiful spot however the location was quite remote and the driveway to get to the property was approximately 2.5 miles long and full of pot holes. It definitely could use some maintenance. The room was clean and large and the staff friendly. Breakfast was good but overpriced. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was very good."

"This property was so unique with such an amazing view. Unfortunately availability of food and beverage was not what we expected. The bar closed earlier than listed and when we asked hotel staff if we could buy a glass of wine, we were told no. A small shop in the lobby with bottles of water, wine, snacks would have been a great addition. Also, one of the 2 saunas was broken, only one bathrobe provided per room and there was a broken shower shelf."
