The Guest acknowledges that voluntary participation in physical activities, whether indoors or outdoors, including but not limited to the use of the hot tub, sauna, gym, sand areas, exposure to wildlife, walks, steps, paths, porches, and roads, is undertaken at their own risk. All such activities inherently carry an element of risk. By accepting this waiver, the Guest agrees that participation and use of facilities and grounds are entirely at their own risk. The Guest assumes full responsibility for any and all aspects of their participation, as well as for any children accompanying them on the property or while visiting the area.
The Guest acknowledges that activities such as using the hot tub, sauna, and gym equipment are available, and and by booking this home this waiver and following the rules below are accepted:
The use of any hot tub or sauna involves risks that may result in serious injury or death.
No children under the age of 12 are permitted to use the hot tub or sauna at any time.
The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) advises that becoming overheated in a hot tub or sauna is not recommended during pregnancy.
Elderly persons and those with heart disease, diabetes, low or high blood pressure, strokes, epilepsy, or similar health conditions should consult a physician before using the hot tub or sauna.
Never use the hot tub or sauna while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, if you are taking medications, or if you are being treated for any illness.
The hot tub should be kept at a temperature below 104°F for personal safety.
All bathers must shower before and after using the hot tub or sauna to reduce the risk of skin irritation or other health concerns.
Do not sit or walk on the hot tub cover, as it may collapse.
Exercise caution when walking around the deck where the hot tub is located.
Children must be supervised at all times to minimize the risk of injury, death, or drowning.
Gym Rules:
Use of gym equipment is at the Guest’s own risk.
Guests are required to wear appropriate footwear and attire while using the gym.
Children under the age of 16 are not allowed to use gym equipment unless supervised by an adult.
Inspect gym equipment before use, and do not use any equipment that appears damaged. Report any issues immediately.
Do not engage in any activities while under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication that may impair judgment.
Guests must wipe down gym equipment after use with provided cleaning supplies.
Additional Guidelines:
Guests are required to remove any sun tanning lotions, body lotions, facial products, or makeup from areas of the body that will come into contact with the hot tub or sauna. An outdoor shower is available for this purpose.
Guests who choose to leave such products on their skin while using the hot tub or sauna will incur an additional cleaning fee of $200
