great location!!! Parked the car on arrival and never moved til check out. Ocean views from front and back of condo. The condo was very clean and updated!

Memorial Weekend

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always stay in the Sea Cabins on Isle of Palms, but were disappointed in this unit. The living room couch is in poor condition and the bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable.

Needs a little maintenance

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: You can't beat the location. The view is beautiful. The sofa bed needs to be replaced. Also the faucets in the bathroom were leaky, broken and moldy which made the unit feel more like a ghetto Motel 6 than the expensive rental is. I informed maintenece of the faucet multiple times during my two week stay and they did nothing. It was kind of gross having to handle the moldy faucet. I'd recommend the property if I knew it was replaced.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Disappointed in our condo overall. The only couch needs to be replaced. We didn't use the pull out bed, but the couch itself is pretty much broken down. The only bed in the unit is uncomfortable, and one pillow on the bed was so wadded up that it needs to be thrown away, and the bedspread is stained and looks dirty. The table and chairs on the balcony don't go together. The chairs are too high, so you can't sit at the table. The unit was decently clean, but the shower/tub had not been wiped down, and we smelled a foul odor coming from the kitchen area the whole time we were there. We enjoyed our time at the beach, but the mosquitos were so bad on the grounds that we couldn't use the pool. We won't be back.

Perfect Get Away Minus the Shower

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a great place to get away with a little work mixed in. The unit had everything I needed except warm water. I had 3 cold showers. After the 1st one, I called and maintenance attended to it immediately however nothing changed. It's hard to stay relaxed with cold showers so that was very disappointing. Besides that it was great.

We saw one family leave the beach through the dunes and strip their 7 to 8 year old boy nude to use the shower. Mother and father also changed clothes in the parking lot.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been renting Sea Cabins for years. They are ocean front with their own swimming pool and fishing pier. You can walk to dining, pizza, ice cream and shopping. There is entertainment in music too, and drinking, so you don't have to drive. We stated in C building in which you have morning sun on porch and not the hot afternoon sun, just to keep that in mind. The places are neat and clean.

Great Vacation Stay!

I also appreciated all the text message updates before/during the hurricane/tropical storm. My only suggestion would be that the couch bed could be replaced to something more comfortable, but it got the job done for our stay. This unit is super close to the beach and love the pier access. We would definitely stay here again!!

This particular unit could use a new sofa and mattress. Both were well worn and kitchen equipment was not the best I’ve seen and I certainly don’t expect top grade utensils in a rental unit, but...We will definitely be back to Sea Cabins but I’d be more likely to rent a unit that the owners had updated and renovated a bit more. And I say this as a conscientious renter who tries to treat the unit as an owner would.

Only had 3 forks n the drawer, texted management, And they brought 3 new forks the next day. The condo is only a few maintenance issues away from perfect. Hot water faucet handle loose in bathroom, needs transition strips from bathroom floor to new hall and bedroom floors. AC system design poor- no vent in bathroom, poor air flow in bedroom, only 1 vent in living room/ kitchen area. Complex is well maintained considering its age. Pool, beach access, pier are great. Management very responsive. Location great! I would recommend sea cabins for anyone with a small family or group.
