However, the house exceeded our expectations being warm, comfortable and had everything you could need - really high quality furnishings etc. Fantastic views from the house and the patio area and walks from the doorstep. "The property is spacious, clean and warm. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and easy to use with plenty of hot water. The open plan kitchen and dining room are well equipped and an excellent meeting hub. Located near the ferry, fuel and shop this is well located for a North Uist holiday. "

"We enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay in Jayne Cottage and benefitted hugely from the brilliant weather. The property is cosy and welcoming and we really enjoyed the warmth and views from the conservatory. The homemade bread was a lovely touch too. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here. "

Surrounded by nature

"Our second time at Kettle Cottage and we hope to be back again. Great wee base comfortable and cosy surrounded by nature, crashing waves, corncrakes and lapwings. The Dunes is fab for lunch and coffee and great to practice my Gaelic with Anne. Taing mhòr airson a h-uile rud."

"Airidh an Dhobrain is immaculately presented and has everything required in a holiday cottage. It is in a quiet location but with easy access to the rest of the islands. Monica, who manages the property on behalf of the owners, was extremely helpful and our stay was all-too short."

"This place is a treasure. It's in an exquisite valley in the far and quiet corner of Skye, and well worth the drive. Jane is warm, welcoming, and readily shares her trove of knowledge about Skye: places, people, activities, hikes. She's a superb cook and gracious hostess: many fine, fresh breakfast options, including the bread she bakes herself, and the best granola we have ever tasted, impressive assortments of fruits and berries, etc etc etc. Our suite was new and immaculate, with many well thought-out functional and aesthetic touches. "

Super home in south west Harris

"We’re repeat visitors to this lovely house and it never disappoints. It’s warm, comfortable, well equipped? quiet and in a super location. Would thoroughly recommend. It’s an easy walk to beautiful beaches and the Temple and an easy drive to even more beautiful beaches. Beautiful views across the Northton salt flats to the Harris hills/luskentyre. 5 minute drive to Leverburgh for shops/restaurant/ferry to Berneray."
