"We had room 109 and it looked out over the water and the lively street but was very quiet. The shower was amazing as were the products. The coffee and tea and snacks were delicious. The bed was very comfy and the room was nice and dark! We didn’t get to explore the hotel at all since we were just there overnight but we would gladly stay there again if we are lucky enuf to return to Oban. What a great little town and a great hotel experience!"

"This guest house is spotlessly clean, the double room with private bathroom was lovely and bright, and looks freshly decorated. The bed was very comfortable, the views over the bay is fab. The bathroom & shower are immaculate, with a very handy light in the mirror which means you don’t need to put the bathroom light on late at night. The guest kitchen is spotlessly clean and the continental breakfast is well worth the money. However, the 4 hangers on a frame are not enough to hang up even 2 days worth of clothes. There is no toilet roll holder in the bathroom and nowhere to hang even the hand towel. I would advise not to book a sea view room if you need to sleep on a dry Saturday night as the rooms are directly over Markie Dans, a very popular pub with additional seating outside, though I must say the atmosphere in the pub is fantastic with great live music. All in all a great wee place."

"The owners were so helpful and kind. Food was excellent. Nice, slow breakfast that balanced the wild day we had exploring Mull. Owner helped us with a low tire and we.made the ferry on time. This is a unique hotel experience. Old, quaint and comfortable. Hreay after hours bar wirh friendly locals. Not the usual hotel - special."
