The Bellachroy

"The property is beautifully decorated and there are many thoughtful touches. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hearty and made to order (although ours was a bit cold), overall I would strongly recommend a stay here. We only booked one night and regretted it."
Park Lodge Hotel

"Had a lovely couple of days at Park Lodge. Great sleep. Lovely room. Wife appreciated the set up for hair drying and mirror in the bedroom. Only minor thing is that towels could be a bit larger. Evening meals were lovely. If having the September Chinese Trio special watch out for chillies! Breakfast was fine although full Scottish was a smaller portion than expected. Poached eggs had a different look but were tasty."
Kilchoan House Hotel

"Breakfast was super. My wife particularly enjoyed the porridge. Portions were large. Room was clean & staff friendly. Bed wasn’t that comfortable so didn’t sleep particularly well. A bit too soft and springy for me as I like a good firm mattress. Room was very hot. Didn’t look like we could open a window but to be fair I didn’t ask. One thing they may wish to consider is to put a mirror in the room & not just in the en-suite. My wife dries her hair without her glasses on and couldn’t see herself from where the hairdresser plugs in to the mirror in the bathroom. This was a family room number 1."

"The kitchen is new, but includes some design choices. A drawer conflicts with the oven, and the clothes washer soap tray conflicts with door trim. Beds were very comfortable, as was furniture. Ceiling is a bit lower than normal, light fixtures lower still - at 6’5”, there were 5 that hit me in the forehead"

"The apartment was great and the location perfect. I would have looked more direct communication rather than through a link which was a little arduous. It all worked but I was on a ferry worried about photo connection and not getting the code for the lock box. Needs to improve that. Also needs to make clear that there is no parking. Just parking on the street. That’s is not how it is listed Having said all that the place was great. As I said everything was there and the location was perfect. Would definitely stay again"
