"Wow. Skye is magical and I'm glad we stayed two nights in this house. The view from the windows of the loch and surrounding countryside is unbeatable. So many stars at night. Amazing silence. Friendly neighbors down the street let us feed their sheep. The home was our comfortable base for exploring the Quiraing Road, Mealt Falls/Kilt Rock, Old Man Storr, Portree, and the Fairy Pools. Got up for the sunrise our last morning. Didn't want to leave! Thank you! "

"This cottage in the little town of Carbost was perfect for our trip to Skye! We had everything we needed as a home base to go out and explore all over the island. We loved coming back in the evenings to settle in to the cozy living room and relax after long days of hiking and sightseeing. Thanks for a great stay!"

"Fantastic property with lots of character. Was easy to access with key in a little lockbox, for which we were sent the code. Masses of space, comfy beds and sofas. Well equipped kitchen. Amazing views. We had sheep in the garden one morning.Only issue was as it's an older property there were very few electrical sockets, and those that were there were already filled with electric heater plugs."

"A unique place to calm down and just enjoy life. Would totally recommend that experience. We shared the otter pod with me, husband and 2 kids and it was very comfy. Place also has hot shower and good sanitary."

"Absolutely amazing location!! Beautiful views out every window! Perfect place to stay for touring the Isle of Skye. While there were a lot of high end (luxury) things in the house, it really isn't meant for 6 adults.Perhaps 4 medium sized people. The rooms were tiny and luggage had to be left in the living room. A single couch isn't enough for 6. The kitchen was pretty small for trying to cook in and the counter stools were too big for sitting in if anybody needed to get anywhere. The sun room would be perfect with more chairs. No broom or dust pan to clean up after our spills. Little things like that. Even so, we really had a good time! Thank you!"
