"Izla Beach Front Hotel is by far one of the great hotels in that area of the island. The property was well maintained, if anyone plans to reserve a room make sure you add the daily breakfast option, food was delicious! I can't say enough about this hotel and Claudia who serves the pool area, she was AMAZING!!! She knew everyone by name and was very attentive to all the guests at the pool. Claudia, thank you so much for your hospitality and your kindness! I will certainly use this hotel again...

"Great location, great pool and beach. Huge rooms. Food on the beach great! The rest of the food had great flavors, but was often served lukewarm. Amazing staff, rooms huge. Playa Norte beach was a short walk for the afternoon. The whole island felt safe, and great local flavors!"

"We spent 4 nights at Ixchel in May 2024 and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean, well decorated and run like a well-oiled machine, from the cleaning staff to front desk staff to the beach and on-site restaurant staff. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and so helpful. Our room was clean and had fresh towels every day, and it had the basics of what was needed: a mini fridge, a microwave, a tv, etc. Shower pressure was good, the mattress was nice and firm and our room overlooked the pool...
