"The exterior of the hotel is very pretty and the inside is modern. The staff is not very helpful. The island is Lido is an older crowd which we loved because it kept it quiet and peaceful. However, we felt a bit judged by the hotel management due to our age (in our 30’s) and didn’t feel any hospitality. It was a good hotel and convenient to San Marco but not sure it’s worth the cost due to hospitality and general lack of kindness of the locals."

"Steps away from the san Marco square, this hotel was an absolute dream of a location! As a solo woman traveler I felt very safe here, and the front desk was always friendly and so helpful with recommendations etc! The room I had was so girly and cute, i really enjoyed my stay here :)"

"The check in was excellent! Had a very nice young man check us in and gave us lots of tips for getting to and from Vienna. Note: this hotel is on the island of Murano, next to Vienna. We made the mistake of walking with our suitcases from the drop point of the Airport water taxi alilaguna. The service to Murano was fine just had very long (at least dragging 2 heavy suitcases from the drop point over busy cobblestone sidewalks. It was a wonderful retreat staying at this location to be away from the crazy crowds in Vienna. Our room was nice. We could have used more places to put things though. We would definitely stay on this quieter island again at the NH Collection Hotel!"

"The staff were particularly helpful with recommendations on how to get to the hotel and the station and good restaurants. I also really appreciated that they held our luggage before check in and after check out. Would come back!"

"Beautiful large corner room with canal views out of several windows. Excellent location to get anywhere you wanted to be in Venice quickly. So close to all the vaporetto lines. Beautiful breakfast on the canal every morning and fun to watch the traffic. Go to Aquila great restaurant across the street. If we return to Venice we will stay here again."

"Absolutely stunning hotel. We were so pleased with everything about our stay! From the airport water taxi service that took us to the island, to arriving at the beautiful hotel and being very pleased with our room, to the excellent service provided throughout our stay. All of the staff were so kind, helpful, and easy to speak to. Special shout out to Sam and Osama who worked at the hotel cafe/restaurant for the excellent service. Both were so kind, joyous and hardworking. Highly recommend. We miss it already and would love to come back."
