Great location
"Typical for NYC, tiny room and dated look. We paid extra for high floor, worth it. Close to Chelsea and Penn station. Convenient to get to Time Square as well. Iconic hotel."

I don't like anything that disturbs me, as cars honking, which is against the law in New York and inccurs a $250 fine to unnecessarily honk.

They need to clean up the area. There's a lot of homeless people and/or beggars around the area. Neighbors on the next room smoked marijuana in their room; and were loud, cursing, and aggressive (could hear them through the thin walls).

Security fences and bars on windows on most of the buildings. Great deal of litter (papers cans, broken glass) on streets & yards. Sidewalks broken & hazardous. Would not stay in Irvington again.
