"For a La Quinta, this place is top tier. Clean facility, easy parking, nice location, staff was very friendly and helpful, room was nice, air worked great, bds were comfy - no complaints. Only observation was that the bathroom had a "fishy" water smell, which I think was from the shower drain but it didn't really impact us at all - my dad just suggested an air freshener 😁. Would stay again. Also at the Barrel 53 Bar/Restaurant just across the way - it was quiet when we were there, but for a delicious quick bite and very friendly bar staff, highly recommended!"

"Checked into this hotel and when proceeding up the stairs to the second floor, the smell of urine was terrible. We still checked out the room, which was in good condition but could still smell the odor from the hall. My wife stated that she couldn't stay there because of the smell. We left the room and went down the other stairs toward the back of the hotel and the smell of urine in that stairway was even worse. I let the gentleman at the front desk know that we weren't staying there and we left. This being Friday night on Memorial weekend, I didn't even try to find another motel and drove another five hours home. Won't book this hotel again."

"Cabin was perfect for what we needed, we had a lot of scheduled activities, just needed a comfortable place to sleep, close by. Nice cabin, worked out perfect."

"The refrigerator did not work in our room and I have a type 1 diabete with insulin . . The lady at the desk was helpful and put it in the fridge downstairs with our name on it. Then our bathroom dripped all night and our air didn’t work. When I came down to get the insulin in the morning the man at the desk said yes she left me a note about that and got me my sons things but when I told him about the air and tub he didn’t care nor did he seem to want to listen. I was not very happy … Also the hot tub was not in working order which was part of the reason I book this one."

"This was my first stay at this hotel, and I booked it based on the positive reviews and photos online. Unfortunately, my experience was very different. While check-in was smooth, the first room was dark, damp, and dirty. There were ants coming from the AC unit, stains on the walls and unit, and what appeared to be dried blood on the bed sheets. The lighting was so poor we had to use our phone flashlights to inspect the room. Thankfully, Harry at the front desk was extremely helpful and moved us to another room, which was better but still poorly lit, and the TV sound did not work. Breakfast the next morning was disappointing, with limited prepackaged options in a very small space. The final issue was the pool area. The chlorine smell was so strong it burned our eyes, and the pool had a visible dirt ring around it. At that point, I canceled our second night and booked another hotel. Several arcade machines were also out of order. The hotel’s exterior and decor were nice, and Harry provided excellent customer service, but the cleanliness and maintenance issues outweighed the positives. I also contacted management afterward and never received the promised follow-up call. I will not be returning."
