There is a home that obstructs the view in front of it but it is a short distance to walk to the beach. Location is very convenient the negatives were the bathtubs a little high for the elderly to get in the shower. "It was excellent. The cottage is very charming, the screen porch is wonderful, and the master bed was super comfy (that was the only one we used). It is very close to town as the crow flies. We saw groups from our area walking into town. It is doable, but not ideal. It is in a very peaceful area, and you can see a little of the lake by looking through the lots across the street.
