"My Husband and I stayed here one night as we passed through on our way home to Missouri. It was very cute and clean. The outhouse was not bad at all. We took to the hike to the lake and explored the beach before coming back to the cabin. Warming up soup for dinner that we brought and reading some books that were n the cabin. The weather was perfect and the fireplace made it nice in the evening and throughout the night. We visited May 29-30, we saw deer turkey and as we left a black bear was on...

"I LOVED the Sunrise cabin! It was camping but with a few amenities that made the experience much better than sleeping in a tent. Very peaceful and quiet and only a 10 minute walk to Lake Superior. The showers in the lodge were an added bonus. I definitely will be back and have already shared with friends, encouraging them to check out this awesome place!"

"This worked perfect for our family and our stay, especially with our hound along for the ride. We’d like to return in the summer months to better be able to explore the trails. The one difficulty was the lack of heater in the cabin necessitating use of space heaters. While the cabin remained warm enough I was under the impression there was more centralized heating. Other than that we had no issues and really enjoyed our stay!"

"We were able to go out to eat at some fun restaurants for supper each night. At the same time, we felt as though we were hours away from the hustle and bustle. Nature was all around, yet conveniences kept everything hassle free! We will recommend this get-away to friends and family. We will definitely come back multiple times."

"Overall booking to check in process was fairly easy. My family had a wonderful time there at the cabin. There was ample of space for my group of 13! The kids absolutely enjoyed the lake. The hosts did a wonderful job staging the place. We hope to come back again in the future! :)"

"What a beautiful place inside and out! Definitely one of the best we've stayed at! The drive in was a little rough because of the frozen dirt road, but it was worth it for the large private property where our dog loved roaming freely!"

"Needed a place to stay for a weekend of fishing, this cabin fit the bill with the marina that I wanted to fish out of. The cabin has a nice layout, and was sufficient for what I needed. The cleaning person claimed I had a dog in the cabin, and left dirty dog dishes with hair "all over the place" and I received an added cleaning fee with out first checking with me. There was no dog, and the checkout list was followed to a T. I will not stay with this "Host" again"

"Extremely clean, quiet, safe. Rooms are spacious. Easy access to Lake Superior right next to the property with outdoor chairs and a trail along the lakeshore. Love this place. Washburn is quiet and modest and close to Ashland and Bayfield. "
