"Republic is pretty much in the middle of the U.P. so everything is a 45 min drive and up for sight seeing, which made it great for what my wife and I planned. Be advised the cell coverage in most of the U.P. is not good.This property is nice and private with a gate at the end of the driveway. The owners Ken and Sara are awesome with communication, they get back to you with great information and a quick response. Will definitely consider this again for future stays. Dan and Melissa"

"Check-in was smooth, kitchen had everything we needed. Location was ideal as it’s a 3 minute drive to downtown Eagle River, 1 minute drive to boat landing on Yellow Birch Lake (Eagle Chain), 1 minute drive to beach on Silver Lake. Served as nice and relaxing base camp as we traveled around the area all week long. Nice furnishings and large dining table. "
