"I almost don't want to give this rave review because I want to keep this gem of a place all to myself. It's simply magical. My daughter and I were pinching ourselves the whole time we were there: the unreal back deck and chairs, ocean view, privacy, quiet, comfy bed, huge bathtub and amazing breakfasts. Cody was such a pleasure every morning. Each day we were out hiking and exploring but couldn't wait to get back to our room to sit and sip wine and look at the ocean and the family of quail who came to visit. We loved everything about it. Everything. Cabin # 13: you made some very special memories for us and we'll be back. Thank you thank you thank you."

"Excellent location with all rooms having an ocean view. Rooms 6-9 are especially nice, they are king rooms on the second floor with private balconies. They're in the only two story building. If we're ever in Mendocino again, which is a great little town, we will stay here. We spent four nights."

"This house has an extraordinary Mendocino ocean view . you can enjoy it from the living room or the sunroom. It lives up to its description and more so. It's in a good location, near hiking trails. It's kind of musical...there is a clavinova piano and a xylophone and it was fun to use them. We cooked in the kitchen and it was fine, but has not been updated and it is a galley kitchen. The two bathrooms have been updated. We only used one bed and it was good, with a firm mattress. The host was very responsive and will get back to you quickly. The house was very clean and well taken care of. Generally, things went well and we enjoyed our stay there."

"This cabin near the Point Arena Lighthouse was a great place to stay. Clean, quiet, and peaceful. Booking through Expedia was seamless and easy. We loved every minute of our stay and will be returning."
Mendocino Coast Hideaway

"The hostess is excellent! The property is clean. Do NOT bring a large car or truck. The driveway is steep and it is difficult to navigate especially if you are alone. The hostess does make up for it but if you arrive late it will be a bit tough. The kitchen is not made for cooking but there is ample space for food for 1-2 people if all you need is a microwave. The bed is comfortable. Wifi enables cellular use which would be otherwise spotty. It is incredibly quiet with occasional visits from hummingbirds."

"Our cottage (the Dillon) was lovely, with such a picturesque view from the living room! I loved all the beautiful flowers and plants covering the property. The cottage was very roomy, with a large bathroom and full kitchen. The host was very communicative, check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the price was very reasonable. We didn't have a pet with us, but this is a dog-friendly property, so if you want to bring your furry family member this is a great option. The parking for the Dillon and the Elk is down a bit of a slope, which was no issue for us but if you have mobility issues, you may want to consider a different unit. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and would definitely stay again!"
