"This place is terrific. If I were to come back to Visby I would want to stay here again. The location is excellent. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They helped us when we were late for our dinner reservation. The staff will even park your car as the parking spaces are tight as one would expect in an old walled city. The breakfast was fantastic the best we had in Sweden."

The staff are super friendly and helpful,and the whole place was spotlessly clean and in great condition, no signs of wear and tear. Comfortable beds, and although not a huge range for breakfast, the selection was fresh and tasty. Lovely decking area at the front, for breakfast, or a coffee in the afternoon, away from the crowds. "This is a typically wonderful Scandic hotel with excellent service, great beds, and decadent breakfasts and is right across the road from the Central Train Station. It also has a good, though oddly painted dark, gym. The outside is safe but a lot of smokers and drunks hang out there."

"The hotel is right on a large park, the botanical gardens, and is a 3 minute walk to the Visby Wall and Baltic Sea shore for watching incredible sunsets."
