Die Wohnung ist zentral gelegen, hat aber nicht, - wie man bei dem letzten Foto meinen möchte -, ein Fenster mit schönem Ausblick im Obergeschoss, zu dem die fotografierte Treppe führt - im Gegenteil: der Eingang zu Küche und Duschbad liegt im Erdgeschoss, und die Treppe führt in den Keller! Dort hatte der Durchgangsraum (Wohnzimmer) keine Fenster, der dahinterliegende Schlafraum hatte Kellerfensteröffnungen zu Lichtschächten. Das hatten wir so...

The owners responded immediately to any questions and were so helpful.....providing me with antiseptic and bandages when I had a fall, going to a nearby restaurant and helping us order since I don’t speak German and generally being very pleasant and friendly. I would certainly recommend staying here!"

"Our travel arrangements were a few hours delayed but the VRBO owners were graciously flexible and met us on location when we arrived to provide for a smooth transition. The apartment and all appliances were operable and useful. The bathroom was great, a newly remodeled shower with instant hot water and heated towel racks. "My brother, our friend, and I stayed for 3 days at Wilfried's place in Colmberg, which is a pleasant small town just a 20 minute drive from Rothenburg. The spacious converted barn is very homey, with sofas, WiFi, a large-screen television, etc. Wilfired was very personable, enjoyed chatting with us and giving us recommendations for restaurants in the area, and even for other good places to visit in southern Germany. If some day I return to the area I will definitely stay with Wilfried again."
