Katerina and her Husband were so helpful our whole stay, giving us extra towels for the pool and giving us restaurant and activity recommendations. The beach front view is beautiful! Would definitely stay here again!

Felt like family!

Mare monte was out of a dream between the amazing staff that felt like family to the beautiful flowers blooming around the walk way to the rooms. You are as much on the beach as you can and it is a quick walk to food and cute shops! The pool was very clean and also lovely to relax by!

Lovely stay

Absolutely loved my stay at Mare Monte hotel. The location is absolutely perfect, you couldn't get closer to the beach (very nice beach) and it was close to the port and quick drive to the city centre. The grounds of the hotel are also very nice, gorgeous flowers everywhere and a big pool with plenty of sun loungers. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself isn't perfect a little outdated and needs a slight tune up but honestly the was easy to look past with everything else it has. Definitely would recommend staying here if you visit Ios.

Unfortunate start in Ios

The staff was wonderful and friendly. The hotel was just opening and I personally think they should have taken a few more days to prepare. There was no hot water. We were told there would be after 0900 due to the solar waterheater, but we never could get anything but cold or tepid water. The ac only worked in one of the rooms. The bathroom was so small our friend traveling with us had a hard time fitting in the toliet space. The shower was not working, the faucet blew apart. The staff tried moving our rooms to accommodate us. Then the toliet stopped working. There were no blankets, when we were given blankets they were old, outdated and musty. There wasn't a kettle to make coffee, just a refrigerator (in one of the two rooms working). After staying a little over 24 hours, we gave up and moved to another hotel.

Tutto perfetto,solo che non é l' hotel prenotato. C' é stato una specie di disguido e mi hanno trasferito all' hotel corali( molto probabilmente anche con un upgrade)

Wir waren eine Woche im Mare Monte und es war eine super schöne Zeit. Das Meer ist gleich vor der Tür, außerdem bietet die Unterkunft einen tollen & großen Pool zur Abkühlung. Der Bus nach Chora & Pathos halten vorm Hotel per Handzeichen. Ansonsten ist im Hafen eine Busstation, welche 5 Gehminuten entfernt ist. Super Lage, Zimmer waren sehr gemütlich und wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen :) Einmal haben wir Nachts unseren Zimmerschlüssel beim Ausgehen verloren, der Hotelbesitzer ist dann sofort ans Telefon gegangen und konnte uns weiter helfen. Top Service! Es wird jeden Tag im Zimmer geputzt. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Litt slitt hotell med en ypperlig beliggenhet

Koselig sted, med svømmebasseng. Fin beliggenhet ved en rolig strand. Ett stykke inn til ett hektisk sentrum. Gammelt, men ganske rent og en meget enkel frokost. Kort vei til havnen der båtene går fra.

Close to everything and yet Private and quiet

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The girls were very welcoming and friendly. Close to the port, beach, shops and restaurants..yet our motel was quiet and private. Only problem was the wifi which they are hoping will be fixed soon by the phone company. We spent a lot of time at the Yialou bar next door.
