"The office manager was friendly, and he gave us some breakfast items to take with us since we'd leave before 6:30 am. He also gave us a room in the back that was quieter and changed our room when we realized that the first one was smokey, even though the rooms are non-smoking.He gave us a good recommendation for dinner, too. The room was quiet, bed was comfortable, and coffee was available 24/7. The only thing we could have used was a freezer in the refrigerator since we travel with coolers."

"Old school motel with 50s vibe with some modern amenities. Clean and comfortable for a couple night stay. Quiet at night and friendly staff. Rooms are being worked slowly but are decent for a stay. Will be back next time im in town. "

"The gateway to the sequoia. Highly recommend The River inn. The staff are just amazing and super helpful. The room (cabin) was very comfortable. We actually booked a room and wanted to use the grill but it was not available so the put us in the cabin at no additional charge, i was able to cook right in the kitchen. We will be back as this is a great little place"
