"A lovely well planned and set out cottage that, although compact, has everything you need. You really do need a car to stay here and there were no real options to walk anywhere from the property. Quite a few animals (dogs, chickens etc.) running about unchecked right outside the property and it’s also a bit of a building site with pipes sticking out the ground, bricks and loose slabs etc. so may not be ideal for everyone. As others have said the bathroom mirror is so high up on the bathroom wall it’s completely pointless to even have it. (At 5’7 I could barely even see the top of my head let alone my face.) There is a dishwasher and washing machine which is handy- dishwasher tablets were provided but no washing powder/ liquid. No views but I felt it was well priced for what it was. "

"Nice clean pub rooms. Small but secure with refurbed bathrooms. Warm and quite comfortable. A pretty standard double bed but still sleep worthy. Staff were very helpful and happy to assist. No lifts as stated but we were able to leave most of our luggage in the car. Dinner is limited as the cook called in sick but there’s a few budget options nearby. Just avoid the kebabs. Great location to visit the Fyrish monument. Value for money this stay. "
