"The staff was helpful. The breakfast was very good. This is more of a University property. Our window opened to a delivery area so was kind of noisy early in the morning. Our room was also Very small. And do note there is No elevator. We missed that and had to walk up multiple stairs with luggage. "

"Reception was great. And very accommodating. Just needs a little sprucing up. New beds and pillows and carpet would be lovely. We needed a place to stay for 1 night and it fit that purpose. I left my electric toothbrush there and was able to retrieve it the next day. Very much appreciated. "

"The property was very clean and allowed us in our room early. The only thing I was missing was a fan in the room. There wasn’t a lot of circulation in the room and having to keep curtains closed due to sunlight, it would become hot in room. A small fan would help this. Overall, the room is very nice and right along the bus line to catch into town. Very convenient for traveling."

Dinner in the restaurant was very good and the bar was good too. Our only complaint was that there was no WIFI for our entire stay which made it difficult for planning some activities due to the fact everything is booked online these days. "

"Booked this property months in advance. Didn’t receive a confirmation email or a check in email so rang the phone number provided and the owner was rude and hung up the phone. I then received a call saying I couldn’t stay at the accommodation as it was fully booked. This was the morning of the day I was travelling to stay at this property. Luckily the Expedia staff were helpful and found elsewhere for us to stay. "

"I like the location. The bus is just next to the house. The responsable gave us some information about the famous attractions in Edinburgh. He has a dog called Tom. He's very friendly. It was the first time i wasn't scared of a dog. I noticed just that the room isn't warm enough. But in general i liked the experience"
