"My friend and I stayed at the Ardoe house for one night. We booked an Executive double, King bed and stayed on a Thursday night in June. The hotel overall was pretty quite, the outside grounds were beautiful. Our bed was very firm, but also expected anywhere outside of the US. We made a table reservation at the restaurant, and were the only ones there. Food was ok, if you have the means to get back into town there are likely better options. "Management at breakfast left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, no one was there to greet us. The only staff member was engaged in a heated conversation with another guest. There was no milk for the cereal. No spoons either! Coffee pot had run out. Family sized kettle was supplying a dining room of about 20 people. Bread was in short supply. Basically under staffed. One staff member taking orders, serving food and clearing tables."

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. I called in advance to request an early check in as I was attending a wedding nearby. Room was ready for me when I arrived. Room was clean, plenty tea/coffee & milk, bed was comfy. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again. Thank you."
