"Cosy, once we got it warm, was very cold when we arrived, the kitchen was very well equipped with loads of gadgets, all good quality equipment, but we couldn’t find a whisk. The kitchen area was large enough to all gather in, the lounge was not large enough to seat us all on the sofas. Pool room was a good bonus, because of the weather. Loved the boot room and utility area. Toys for the kids and great for the dogs until they dried. Slight downside, maybe because of the rain, we had damp areas...

"Utterly charming cottage with all the mod cons required for a lovely break. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful and I was made to feel very welcome. Would love to return again should I be back in the area in future. Travelling with my dog, and everything was laid on for her too - very comfortable, well worth a visit."

"The house has a sunny "breakfast" room and kitchen overlooking the south facing garden. there is plenty of space in the large dining area and sitting room. The 3 bedrooms upstairs could do with a chest of drawers in each and the bathroom is functional. Local amenities are 3 pubs within 150 yards, a convenience store and a Post Office within 100 yards. We took 2 dogs so great from that angle - there are plenty of walks reached very easy and quickly from the front door. Would we book again -...

"As soon as we entered Galleon's Reach, we felt welcome and at home. There was a bowl of clean water ready for our dog, as well as treats,towels and tennis ball.There was also a welcome basket with scones, jam & cream, as well as a lovely bottle of wine and two glasses (who could resist!). The views of the estuary are beautiful and the area is peaceful. If you don't fancy driving, you can easily walk to the beach at Instow which is dog friendly. The pubs allow dogs if you want to eat there. If...
