"This home is 5 star and will not disappoint. We had two rooms with hot tub. We also had breakfast buffet daily. We went to the spa twice and highly recommend using spa services. We did not eat dinner in the hotel b/c there are so many good options seaside or in the old town. Overall staff were exceptionally friendly, and the location of the hotel is amazing. It was easy to get sun chairs...and the beach access if very close (short walk 1-2 min). The hotel has many small restaurants nearby, if we want to stay local. The old town is a 30 min walk, but you can either walk on the beach to get there or past numerous restaurants and shops. It's a fun walk. If you want to take taxi, it is easy to get taxi and fee will be 8E. We had such a fun time and will come back next year. Cannot say anything negative about this property."

"This was one of the best hotels stays. Everything was wonderful! Breakfast was always delicious. Fresh fruit and Cappuccino every morning. Our room was beautiful and generously sized. My husband and I had plenty of space to unpack for the week. The staff is A+++. Every person we came in contact with was wonderful! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It is in the perfect location. You can walk to just about any where. We rented a car and had no trouble finding parking. I am back to work so We can come back for a vacation again soon. Thank you!"

"This is our third visit to the Alvi Hotel. It is one of the best accommodation in the area, the rooms are amazing and so is the rooftop jacuzzi. The location is perfect for the old town and their breakfast is the best I've ever had in all the travelling we have done. the restaurantis also good with the most beautiful setting."

"Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cet hôtel. Le personnel était gentil, le petit déjeuner était très bon et l’ensemble de l’établissement était d’une grande propreté. L’emplacement est vraiment idéal pour découvrir à pied la vieille ville. Nous nous y sommes sentis très bien et aurions vraiment aimé pouvoir y rester plus longtemps. Une très belle expérience que nous recommandons sans hésitation!"

"We have stayed here in the summer for the last several years. Each time it has exceeded our expectations. Quiet, clean, on the north edge of old town Rethymno, so the perfect location to explore there. It's also beautiful on the inside (like many of the very old houses, the architecture is hidden from the narrow street). Highly recommended."

"Had a wonderful stay here. The property is charming with a lot of character and a perfect central location. The “superior” room was spacious and bright and the staff were incredibly friendly. The cleaning staff especially were so kind and sweet. The shower did switch temperatures from hot to warm back and forth which was odd but that was the only thing we noticed. Overall fantastic and highly recommend!!"

"Beautifully equipped with modern amenities, with abundant charm appropriate for rethymno. A warm and friendly welcome from the hosts of the property was also raher sweet way to feel connected to the property! I would recomend, location was excellent, on the outskirts, close to parking, the fort and real lived in part of town!"
