"We spent a week here with our kids and had a wonderful stay. The location is fantastic for exploring Chattanooga — just 4-5 minutes by car from everything on the water, so it made a perfect home base for our trip.The house itself is an older home with a ton of character — cute and quaint, exactly what we were hoping for. One thing worth noting for other families: the stairs are quite steep, so keep that in mind if you're traveling with anyone who might have trouble with stairs. That said, our kids loved the little reading nook tucked under said stairs — it became their favorite spot in the house. We were also impressed by how fast the WiFi was — we clocked 750/750 Mbps upload and download — great for streaming shows during downtime or if anyone needed to get work done.The host was extremely responsive throughout our stay, quick to answer any questions we had. Overall a great week — we'd happily stay here again."

"The house is nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The objects hanging from the ceiling in all the bedrooms was too much. None of the guests liked or wanted glow in the dark stars and moons in their bedrooms. Hanging objects in a child’s bedroom is great not in adults. The bedrooms needed nightstands and lighting. The only light in the bedrooms was a very small lamp in the corner of the room. I would prefer white towels and sheets too. All in all a nice house."
The Loft

"On the positive side the room was very clean and nice. There were free bottles of water which were already cold in the fridge. That was very nice as we ended up in Chattanooga on a record breaking heatwave. The room stayed nice and cool.The only real problem we had was actually finding out how to get to the room. Though the address leads you to the house. It does not lead you to the room. In order to find the entrance to the Loft room you must go up a side street (the one before you get to the house, if you are coming from the city) in order to reach the "back alley" which is where the entrance to the room is. When you turn into the back street it is the first turn to your right. This actually looks like it is a driveway. It does turn into an alley way which is very narrow. My suggestion to the owner would be to put better directions to your guest as to how to get into this back alley. Also it would have been nice if there had been a sign which told you that you were at the correct place. Just a sign saying "Welcome to the Loft" would have been great. Having said all that. It was a great 4th of July. The room was comfortable and the area was quiet. Just a few tweaks and you could easily clear up the directions."
