Fantastic, outstanding place! Super clean, comfortable, nice, quiet, very friendly and so kind hosts (husband and wife), excellent breakfast with tasty homemade sweets, freshly made exquisite coffee, wonderful location near lake, stable Wi-Fi, the most pleasant stay one could only imagine, astonishing experience! Lovely, 10+ stars!!!

A wonderful stay! The views were incredible! Dorothy was so gracious and accommodating. Petit Hotel is a must for those visiting the region! We will stay there on our next visit to Neuchatel! Thank you again to Dorothy and her staff!

What a spectacular, comfortable, beautiful place to stay. Particularly nice touch: beach towels for a swimming pool the lake.

The receptionist is friendly and speaks English very well, which eliminates the language barrier. The room is very spacious and clean. It look like a small apartment than a hotel. There is a very nice lake near by. It is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The train station is about 10-15 minutes walk.

Great hotel and great experience - each room is different and i expected a different room from what i got, if that matters to you make sure in advance perhaps. Otherwise the food was delicious and the ambient was great

The location was absolutely breathtaking right on the lake. Everything was within walking distance great food great drinks great shopping. It was truly amazing. The staff was super helpful and friendly parking right up front or in the garage below. Highly recommend this hotel.

Go for the balcony rooms on the second floor.

Perfect location if mountains, watches, and incredible people are something you like. Friendly and helpful staff and really nice rooms. I’ll be back.

Spacious and clean rooms.

This is an excellent hotel for what it is, a basic hotel. The room is comfortable, shower is good and it had a balcony as well as a table where one can work, relax or eat. The hotel has a restaurant and serves a nice breakfast. Hotel staff is friendly.

Loved our stay!!

Staff were prompt and courteous. Make sure your GPS is up to date to avoid road closures around the area. The room was very spacious, clean, and quiet. Breakfast simple but was great!

Schiff am see was a nice, comfortable hotel in Murten. Like most hotels in Switzerland, getting there and around town is a bit of “up and down” walking. The front desk staff, Stephanie and Tina were most helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and the restaurant is available for evening meals. We had no issues with the room. We are comfortable walking stairs. Murten is an interesting town with an interesting history.
