"Quirky building and a lovely room. Upgraded free of charge which was a lovely surprise 🥰 young man who checked us in was so lovely polite and friendly 😊 We went for a meal elsewhere for my mums birthday and when we came back we visited the pub across the road which is also part of this family business and again the place was cute and clean with wonderful staff and locals. "LOVELY LARGE ROOM ,CLEAN ,TEA & COFFEE MAKING ITEMS ,THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THAT THE HEATING WAS NOT ENOUGH FOR THE SIZE OF ROOM & BATHROOM THE NIGHT WE STAYED ."

"I stayed for one night before a wedding nearby. I had a warm welcome and the room was lovely! Spotless and modern with a view over the street. Secondary glazing meant I heard nothing and slept for 9 hours! The bathroom was brand new by the looks of things too. The Eggs Benedict was lovely too. I’d definitely stay again when I’m back down this way. "

Fantastic hotel in the countryside

"Excellent hotel , with lots of charm and character, outdoor seating was great in the gardens and bar is very comfortable and cosy. Restaurant was very nice and have yet to sample their afternoon tea. The staff were extremely professional and very helpful and i would highly recommend staying here"
