"We had a fantastic weekend in this lovely house. It was fit out and presented well, clean and tidy, and in a great location. The only criticism would be with such a large area that maybe some more lounge seating in the living areas as it was limiting given the houses ability in accomodating a large group. The hosts were great answering our queries very promptly in the lead up to our stay and would recommend the house for anyone to stay in."

"The property was exactly as it was shown in the booking. The communication between us and the owner work well. Loved the property, fit our needs perfectly. The house was spotless and extremely comfortable. No complaints at all. I might suggest an outside light that would come on when arriving home after dark. Would have made finding the door a little bit easier. But just used our flashlights on our cell phone and it worked perfectly. Would absolutely stay again."

"Lovely old Victorian house in quiet area with 470 bus into Sydney centre nearby."

"Stayed here with my extended family (4 adults & 4 children) over the Christmas period. Had everything we needed and never felt overcrowded. Even had a reasonable size garden for the kids to play in. Walking distance to St Peter’s station and Marrickville metro. Lots of family friendly restaurants nearby. Highly recommend. "

"We had a lovely time at this property—especially my teenage daughter who enjoyed all the vintage clothing shops nearby. Our family especially enjoyed eating in the kitchen with the beautiful views of the backyard garden. If you like to shop in small, independently owned stores, this is a great place to stay."

"Awesome stay! Impeccable cleanliness and comfort and super smooth check in/out process. The staff are awesome and make you feel welcome! Breakfast included was a nice touch and they have a super cool coffee machine (looveddd it). Easy ride to and from the city. Things to note as at June 2025: - There’s not yet an in house bar/restaurant and none very nearby, so keep in mind you may need to go out for this. - The room floors are hardwood and there are no room slippers so recommend bringing some as it can get quite cold. - It’s by a main road so if you’re a light sleeper, bring some earplugs! (I didn’t have this problem as it was otherwise really comfortable). Everything was amazing - including the gym and spa. :) Would recommend this hotel to anyone. "
