"Rooms spacious. Washrooms are huge and recently renovated. Food was delicious with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Views from dining room are exceptional. Hotel does smell a bit older, not surprisingly given its history. Remote location if someone is planning to spend a prolonged time."

"This is a great hotel centrally located on the Isle of Skye. We found the attached restaurant to be very good, and we especially liked the authentic Scottish pub with live music. The room was comfortable and among the best we had during our tour of the Highlands."

"We arrived late, they were just about to wrap up serving dinner. Manager said just sit at the bar - have a drink and eat your dinner first then we will take care of the luggages. They took our order and served us delicious steaks, wine and then helped us with our luggage. They did all this smoothly and naturally, which made us feel very welcomed. Breakfast was great, not elaborately large spread, but enough of each category to meet our 10 veggie and protein intake targets effortlessly and delicately. Overall we couldn’t be happier and left very satisfied with the service, food and our clean, large cottage. If we come back to Highland Scotland we will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone also."
