Breakfast was simple although three out of the six tables had not been cleared after guests that had been and gone by 9:00 - in fact I didn't see any staff at all in the morning before I left at 10:00 although it had been explained that I could simply leave in the morning with no checkout required."

"The Fox was a lovely place to stay while visiting family. The meal that we had on the first night was extremely good, and we had been told that the breakfast was going to be just as good. Unfortunately this was not the case. My husband had the full English, but the black sausage was so dried out that when he put his fork in it it broke into tiny pieces (inedible). "Absolutely fantastic stay. Great service, great welcoming people. We eat in the restaurant and the food was great value and excellent quality. All home cooked. Lovely dogs that the kids fell in love with and a great breakfast in the morning included. Absolutely loved this place. Thank you "

"The Barleycorn is situated in the middle of a village, and it was lovely to listen to the wood pigeons burbling/cooing through the window. The rooms are not above the pub, but behind, and consequently quiet; ours was nicely furnished and the bed/mattress comfy. The owners are enthusiastic and welcoming. The main disadvantage to the location concerns traffic, such as Macdonald's lorries, that seems to race along the road: it makes finding somewhere to safely walk the dogs a little...

"Beautiful little place, Ideally located near to shops,pubs,restaurants,etc. The flat is small but just right for a couple with perhaps one child It was clean throughout and well equipped with wahing machine, fridge,Microwave and cooker. The only tging we would say it needs are slightly better heaters, although they do just about heat tje propert to a bearable temp"

"Very comfortable beds, but seating in room was poor. No facilities in room. TV was communal in small communal dining area. Bathroom was down corridor from bedroom. Bedroom had no lock when leaving it. Communal kitchen had very limited crockery or cutlery. Eating options in Pewsey are limited. Breakfast was excellent. Owner friendly and helpful."

"The most amazing room and excellent nights sleep , had a room with four poster bed. Room very clean nice view from window of the beautiful stone cottages and thatched cottages plenty of onstreet parking. No noise considering its a bar and restaurant in the evening . 5 star service amazing host "

"Location was great and right in the centre of Newbury. Apartment was equipped with everything needed for a stay away from home. The room was uncomfortably hot and the small amount the windows opened and fan were no use. Our shower was totally blocked but it was sorted. Cleanliness of the apartment was not to my standard. "

"Stayed with my family, we liked it and I would say above average/good (Not Excellent) as there are few things needs attention and fixed: Very uncomfortable sofa bed (uneven steel frame), wobbly toilet seat and broken chester drawer panel. Otherwise we can't complain the apartment or the area. Thanks"

"Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions."
