"As a native Texan who grew up coming to Port A for family summer vacations almost yearly, this part of Texas is sentimental to me. My son hadn’t been to Port A yet and I wanted to take him for the first time this summer. seaside boutique hotel met all expectations set from the hotels.com booking.
The accessibility to the 3rd floor balcony was unexpected and just added to the view you can still see from the side view rooms.
The staff treated you like family and the room was very clean and comfortable when we arrived. It was just what we needed for a two night stay!
This hotel is right on the beach nestled between Sandcastle hotel which has been on the island before Hurricane Harvey and one I’ve stayed at over 20 years ago with family and some new beach houses on the other side.
This location is ideal and right by the beach entrance at lifeguard station 6.
We always had parking available and the location is close to all of the old town (and new) Port A attractions like gift shops, restaurants, Fisherman’s Warf, and Roberts Point Park.
I will be planning to stay here again! It gives you the opportunity to stay right on the beach at an affordable rate… if you’re coming down to Port A, staying on the beach is ideal and this gives you all you need to do so!
I highly recommend and this is coming from a native Texan who’s stayed at multiple locations on the island over the last 40 + years! It brought me right back to childhood while present in new memories with my son"
