"Chalet dated but very clean and well equipt. Fabulous location and we sat outside on the decking frequently. Very close to a main trainline into London but we knew this as visiting friends having previously lived in Broxbourne. Didn't bother us. Sofa not comfortable to sit & enjoy TV. Very hard. Only other negative was the twin beds. Despite the mattress toppers, the springs in the mattresses have gone. They do need replacing. Sadly we had an uncomfortable few nights sleep! "

"This was a great location - very close to frequent rail connecting to tube - fairly close to two tube stations. The neighbourhood was very pretty and the closest 'high street' had a wonderful Turkish vibe - great baklava! There were also other great high streets within walking distance, each unique. "Accommodations were very basic. No essentials were provided, soap, shampoo, paper towels, tissues, salt, and pepper. It would be a big plus too have a couple more hooks and shelves in the bathroom to be able to place things. Another chair in the main living area would be helpful. Plan to bring everything with you. The gardens were beautiful and very relaxing. Overall worked for us."

"We were a party of 13/15 people and stayed for a weekend break at Pattiswick Hall. We had a fabulous time and would love to return someday. The hall easily accommodated our party and the rooms were spacious and clean - the grounds were lovely and secluded. Highly recommended for a large family gathering"

"We are in our early 60’s and stayed for 4 nights at the end of May 2024. Great central location, out of the door and into the massive park, brilliant for dogs. This is a very old building, quaint inside, nicely updated to fit in well with the property’s age. Bedroom is big and comfy, loved the green leather seat looking out of the window. The bath / shower are a bit of an adventure, looks great but we could not live with it if we were living there all the time. Word of warning, 100% not suitable...

"Not a terrible place just stuck literally in the middle of nowhere. I'm sure it would suite some, just not us. Met with noise from neighbours thumping against walls and a cat that kept whining to come in. Left 20 minutes after arrival. Informed owners but they didn't seem too concerned we weren't staying and didnt ask why we weren't staying. An OK place, just not for us."
