"Stayed in the king suite. Spacious room with couch. Hotel is kept up and clean. Free breakfast was decent with eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. Check in fast with friendly staff. Good location with assorted restaurants nearby."

"Great old resort with beautiful scenery and lots of amenities. Unfortunately it needs attention and maintenance. The restaurant requires more staffing so folks aren’t waiting an hour for their food. Didn’t know it had a complimentary breakfast and that was good! It has potential and charm but needs some upkeep."

"We loved all the small details and the scavenger hunt was a wonderful addition for the kiddos. We enjoyed our time on the water, having bonfires, playing games and traveling to see waterfalls. The ping pong table and small touches like games and books were great as well. Thank you for letting us stay!"

"Loved this place! Tucked away off the river but yet close to both Menominee and Marinette. Spotless clean, nicely updated all the amenities. Kitchenette coffee maker, fridge, loved the fire pit with wood ready to burn. Grills by the picnic table. This place was amazing except for the beds. I believe they are from back in the day! Had to sleep in the center of each bed so as not to sink into the indent. All in all great place!"

"Host was friendly and communicated well, yet not intrusive to our stay at all. Check in and out we're super simple. No problems. Comfortable even with 7 adults, 3 babies, 2 dogs, and there was plenty of room. It's not fancy, or lavish. It's a nice place and is well cared for. The shore is clean from debris, sand was soft and warm. Water is what you expect, storms and August bring up algae but smooth waters bring clear water. Water depth was 3' or less from shore out 150 yards, yes yards! After that unsure as we didn't go any further. More space to play, no invasion of hundreds of people or boats. Water was unseasonably warm, added to bloom I am sure. Kids picked up little rocks worn smooth from water, and a variety of colors. Neat little grassy yard, slope to beach and water. Neighbors are friendly. Water shoes are helpful but not necessary to enjoy beach. Bring beach toys and floaties it's a blast."
