"This rental was amazing! We booked for an annual ladies weekend and had so much fun. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked for an Airbnb. I’ve never seen so many pillow, blankets & towels in a rental. We especially loved the walking trails and the game that comes along with them. Highly recommended."
River Ridge Lodge: Luxury Lodge on the Menominee River

"Peaceful, beautiful, serene, and private. This house is absolutely beautiful and the views out of each room are amazing. In the back, you have the river, which you can watch the occasional small boat, see bats hover over the water at dusk, or see an eagle casually fly by. The front of the house has a small pond, with fish and turtles, but the yard features deer, turkeys, tons of songbirds, and amazingly lush woodlands. The house is spacious so you never feel like you are on top of people and can have space. The kitchen and bar give plenty of seating and refrigerator space. The garage is even great! The double garage door is screened in, allowing you to open the door and enjoy the outdoors, even in poor weather. The management company was very responsive to the handful of questions we had, providing acknowledgement and feedback quickly. Towns with large grocery stores or big box stores are about 30 min away, but the town of Stephenson is less than 10 minutes away and has some restaurants and a Dollar General, which came in handy. It is farther away from activities along Lake Superior however if you are looking to unwind, relax, and unplug, this home has it. My family is already talking about visiting again."
Menominee River Extended Stay Hotel

"This is a probably a better option for construction crews, as was the case, than for a traveling family. Basically, there are no amenities, no front desk and no frills of any sort. All the floors are hard surfaces so the hallway and rooms are noisy. You will hear pretty much everything and everyone coming and going. The reservation process was clunky; I could not get the access code for the door online. However, calling the phone number was about a 20 minute ordeal but did get me the access number and the attendant was courteous to see that I could get in the room. Altogether, this was not a great place for my situation."

"Group of 12, variety of ages from 9 years old to 60. We had a great time! We were prepared for the no service and enjoyed the VHS selection during some of our down time. Worth the stay!"
Lake Michigan Retreat

"The house was lovely, very vintage feeling with comfortable beds. The view was beautiful. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We saw bald eagles, golden eagles, egrets, pelicans, deer, and a baby porcupine! The area in front of the house on the water was not great for swimming because its quite shallow and rocky with zebra mussels. But, it's fine for wading with swim shoes. There is also a county park down the road that has a swimming area."
