"We stayed 2 nights in the French Room prior to biking parts of the GAP and C&O. We loved the privacy of this space and a magnificent breakfast was only a short walk away around the corner. While we drove our vehicle to Harper's Ferry, our bikes stayed safe in the bike garage. We discovered we would not be able to walk back from the Amtrak station as planned since that bridge that is so close to the property is under reconstruction. "Amazing stay in a grande mansion. The food was delicious and our host Pat so caring and warm, we felt instantly at home. The location is close to many attractions but it would be just as nice staying in this beautiful location with outdoor patio, fire pit and hot tub. It’s beautiful like waking up in a muse sun with all the art and artifacts Pat has collected in a lifetime! "

"Best bed and breakfast experience (and I seek out B&Bs). The house is well appointed and the owner Dawn is friendly and makes a superb quiche! Breakfast is very satisfying. Love the old fashioned bathtub. The bed was a little soft for us; however, I recognize that is very dependent on the sleeper. The suites are so spacious and comfortable and the view onto the Main Street is awesome with lots of cool shops, bowling alley, great restaurants, and fun coffee shops. Would stay again! "
