"Overall met our needs. Happy surprise to have three bedrooms but one has totally open upper ceilings so room noise level is high. Hot tub was nice and location is great. "If anyone in your party has mobility issues this property has stairs and upper and lower levels. Be careful of low ceilings in lower and upper level bedrooms are sloped ceilings. This property is very well stocked except no hair dryer. If you are able bodied it's a very nice place to stay. Thanks"

"Spacious house with the most comfortable beds we had on our journey! This house has so much character built into it and the decor was woodsy and charming. My daughter especially loved the windows and the spiral staircase. Also enjoyed feeding peanuts to the stellar blues out on the patio. Close to Alyeska and restaurants in Girdwood. Definitely recommend!"

"When we got to the house, it had not been cleaned because of a mis-communication with the cleaner not showing, but as soon as I called Russ he had someone come over and get it cleaned. "The room had just been cleaned when we checked in. The chemicals were very strong smelling and my husband had a difficult time breathing due to the smells. The bathroom fan is obnoxiously loud and it turns on automatically with the bathroom light. There were not any screens on the windows. We had the windows open all night to let the smells out and all sorts of bugs got in. The view was beautiful. "
