We had an amazing weekend at this lovely property. Directly on the beach but for those of us who are not beach lovers…it also has a great tiki hut to sit and enjoy the ocean without the sand! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful main house and cottage with amazing views of the ocean. Wonderful attention to detail in decorations and comfortable bedding. Hot tub and outdoor space is a perfect hang out spot.

This home was perfect for our softball team, lot's of room to spread out, and HUGE washer and dryer. Summer was great!!

We had a large group and we loved having the 2 houses. The place was pretty clean for the most part, with the exception of a few minor things. Great location and the beach was very nice, too. Loved the privacy. Saw sea turtles down on the beach late at night and the tiki-hut was the selling point for our menfolk!! Would stay here again!!

Fantastic property, right on the water and right down the road from amenities. The homes were pleasantly decorated and stocked with all the supplies we needed. The hot tub and tiki hut were icing on the cake. The owner was professional and communication for check in was timely. I would highly recommend this property!

Stayed with wonderful friends this weekend. September 20-22,2019. We really enjoyed the back yard. Great for hanging out in hot tub and walking on the beach. Good location easy to find. Owner very responsive. Highly recommend for a large group get away

We rented both houses. The pink house is very updated and had everything we wanted:. Great house, great view, great yard, and tiki hut right on the beach! The blue house was not as updated, but worked well to for extra bedrooms. We had a very comfortable stay and the owner was easily reachable for any questions or concerns. We loved our time there and would recommend this listing.

Our family of 18 had a wonderful week at the Salty Dog and Castaway. Indoor space was bigger than I thought by pictures. Outdoor space provided plenty of room for us to spread out and play or bunch up and enjoy each other’s company. The decor was 1st rate as well as all the necessities of preparing meals and celebrating for an entire week. What a great location, great owner (always very responsive) - great experience for all. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at this property! We had multiple families between the two houses and had plenty of space/were very comfortable. The pink house is just gorgeous with amazing views, everything was beautifully decorated. The blue house is smaller and more dated, but very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would 100% rent this property again, we absolutely loved it! We practically had the beach to ourselves each day and being able to walk out your back door onto the beach was just perfect. Also loved the tiki hut! Steve was an amazing host and very responsive. It is clear he takes great care in maintaining this property.

We had such a great time at the Salty Dog property! The location was amazing, the proximity of the property to the water can’t be beat... the photos don’t do it justice! Even though we didn’t have a lot of great weather for the beach we enjoyed collecting shells, sitting out in the tiki bar, and listening to the waves crashing at night. The house was fully stocked- more than any other rental we’ve stayed at before, which made us feel right at home. It was exceptionally clean which was greatly appreciated (especially in today’s climate). We made wonderful memories at this property and hope to come back another time soon.

All i can say is who knew you could carry in so much sand! We visited with Corona viruses and with everything closed allowed us early check in! Very comfortable and accommodating for 13. Plenty of kitchen supplies including spices...bathroom necessities and ocean side toys! We left things inside and out we couldn't bring back with permission!!! Ps beds are comfy!!@

The property had all that we could hope for and plus the Nespresso machine in the master bedroom was such a great touch that I purchased one of our own when we got back home. This was truly a special time to be with our family and will never be forgotten. We renewed our wedding vows in front of our very small party of 20 friends and family. Our good friends own a restaurant just down the road on A1A so we were able to move the festivities there to enjoy our time together even more. Being able to do all of this together while on the beach is exactly what we wanted. Thank you for the opportunity to make this happen.

What a wonderful property! The homes were immaculate when we arrived. Both indoor and outdoor furniture was really comfortable. The master bed was also very comfortable (didn’t try out any other beds, but everyone was very happy with their rooms.) We all loved the tiki bar. It was a great place to have our coffee and watch the gorgeous sunrise. The sand chairs and lounge chairs for the beach were high quality. Both homes are decorated adorably. I can not think of anything negative to say. We were even treated to a great view from the beach of a SpaceX launch from Cape Canaveral. I give this property my highest recommendation. You will not be disappointed.

Wow what a location along Florida's beautiful Atlantic Coast. We rented both houses with 12 (7 adults 5 kids) and everything worked well for our family. The houses are outfitted with quality new everything and my kids really appreciated the boogie boards for the water. As an adult I enjoyed the beach umbrella and lounging chairs. Plus the hot tub was a great warm up after time spent in the ocean. We all slept comfortably in both houses and cooked and ate in the larger pink house as a big family. I also appreciated the "one level" and tiki hut for my elderly father as it offered a perch for him to view the grandkids and beach activity. He also made it to the beach a few times to put his feet in the sand and feel the tide roll in. Thank you Steve for this wonderful location as it served our family well.

This was a very nicely remodeled house right on the beach. We enjoyed the privacy of the beach despite being very close to a public beach and beaches with a lot of condos and hotels. We loved spending time in the Tiki Hut, enjoying happy hour in the shade with the ocean breeze. The house was well equipped in the kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. The property manager was very responsive to emails and by phone when we had a problem with the lockbox code and they sent someone immediately to fix the garbage disposal. We were puzzled by the number of people the house and cottage were listed to accommodate. We were very comfortable renting both the Salty Dog and Castaway Cottage, but we only had 5 people plus our dog. I suppose families with young children or maybe college kids might not mind having that many people in the two cottages. Overall, highly recommend and a good value for the location.
