"The overall appearance of the hotel is beautiful and the staff were very welcoming. We were greeted with a welcome sign, and received a complimentary drink upon being taken to our cabana. The manager Valerie was wonderful and recommended a waterfall for us to visit that elevated our experience in Belize. There is a restaurant, bar, cafe, as well as kayaks, bikes and guest parking. One con was the distance- it’s a while away from where all the activities, restaurants and shop hubs are; about a 25-30 minute drive. Another issue we encountered were big bugs finding their way into in our cabana so if you have a fear of bugs like us that’s something to keep in mind."

"We loved the boutique aspects of the resort. It was small but has the big resort amenities. Comfortable and updated Villas, grounds were clean and well taken care of, the staff was gracious and very attentive. We ran into the owner a couple of times and he was very friendly. We loved this place and will plan to go back in the near future. "

"Truly stellar pool with three areas of different depths. This allowed children to play more freely while parents enjoyed the pool. Only complaint was limited food options with highly variable quality. Note this area of Placencia has lots of sea grass and sargassum that washes up on the beaches daily. So depending on your level of comfort swimming in and around it, you may not be able to use the ocean. When it decays it smells heavily of sulfur. "

"Had lots of little bugs in our villa. Could use a few more railings as floors get slippery when wet. Food was excellent. Beach was beautiful but found a few glass and plastic bottle pieces in sand, Not good for bare feet. 2 lovely and clean pools for non sea swimmers. Would recommend this resort."

"Great to be right in the water "

"We loved our stay. Everything was wonderful from the view to the accommodations. The staff is AMAZING! Vanessa was our favorite as we spent the most time with her. We loved our personalized notes each night as well. The only negative is that the huge balcony only had a small sofa type bench to utilize. Would have loved to have a small table and chairs with a couple lounges. "
