Everything was really walkable. 30min walk away from the train station, it almost put me off, but Bologna is a really good city to walk with suitcases (we got a huge suitcase and a small one). The B&B was in a quiet location. The host that received us was super helpful, giving us all his favourites food spots. There is not in-front desk so if you are not there at 3pm for the check in. "Bruno is an excellent person very caring and ready to help in every thing, when it was no bus to return he didn’t hesitate to come to the train station to pick me up. He gave me a very nice welcome and he help me during my check out taking me to the bus stop. The only problem is distance between main cities, so you will need a car because the transportation is very limited. Also he will need to ask the cleaning lady to do a deep cleaning specially removing the spider and cobwebs. "

"This is the perfect location for a trip to explore Bologna! It is one block off of Piazza Maggiore and you can walk to most of the sites you’ll want to see. There is plenty of dining and shopping in the area. It isn’t a quiet part of town and if you are a light sleeper I recommend bringing ear plugs. I stayed in the Beatrice room and it was clean and good size for 1-2 people. There is a lift to bring you to the top floor. "We were quite disappointed in this stay. It was quite loud late into the night and the “bungalows” didn’t keep out the noise. The rooms weren’t specifically clean but the biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The coffee machine wasn’t restocked-no coffee, the choices were vast but not restocked well.
