"The hotel is very conveniently located, within walking distance to the train station, grocery stores and a discount store. Make sure to walk to Rheinfelden, Switzerland, which is a very nice, underrated town. The breakfast at Hotel Danner was among the best of our 3-week European escapade. The staff at the front desk was excellent, especially the young man whose name I wish I remembered. He gave us very good advice about Basel. I definitely want to go back to Hotel Danner."

"Nice breakfast, nice area but challenging without a car. Room was ok, stuff comes in to fix the bed and to collect the trash but they don’t renew the towels. Room size was not too big but it was not too small."

"Absolutely superb hotel and restaurant. Staff wonderful and helpful. Food delicious and great value. Garden next to the river Rhine too! Bonus! The building is very old with masses of character. "
