"I booked a room online for 2 nights and the pictures online were NOTHING LIKE WHAT I REALLY GOT. Im disappinted, furious & deserve a refund. I arrived & the "hotel" doesn't look anything like the picture they used as a selling point, The real Avalon is WAY SMALLER, and isn't as modern looking as they advertised. The landscape isn't even the same. I go inside to the front desk & nobodies there. No sign, no bell. I waited 25 minutes for someone to finally show up. He didn't even apologize, he acted indifferent."

"The sheets were old and worn out and it was a dirty wash cloth inside the shower I slept in my clothes and everything so none of my body was touching them sheets I will never go again"

"I asked for housekeeping per the policy that was quoted to me at check in, I had to ask twice to get 1 cleaning done - I know all entry level positions are difficult to fill- but they didn’t follow through."

"Please Trust the negative reviews. They will be good to bad. Our experience was bad. The room was cramped, old wood floor dirty, bed springs noisy & uncomfortable, decor was yuk, 2 double windows with curtains that didn’t close all the way- I had 2 hair clips to close them together, shower curtain was moldy, room was musty smelling & damp feeling. This room was on the 3rd floor & located on the corner of the building, a bar with outdoor seating was directly under our room & we heard people until early morning. The street on one side of the room was a drag strip for motorcycles through out the night. The worst part is when I told the staff at the front desk when checking out, he said “next time ask to get a room on the 6th floor, which is much better, yes, the room you were in is not very good.” To be told that by the front desk staff is terrible & he had absolutely NO apology whatsoever. We were staying in the area for a 3 day music festival & only needed a place to sleep & shower so wasn’t looking for a place to hang out during the day, but our room was the worst - honestly! "
