I don't know whose fault is this, either Hotels.com or the hotel, but the age of my children staying with us was clearly specified during booking. but we are charged an addl person charge during check in for my 13 y.o because only 12 y.o & below are free. My point is, why my room choice was successfully booked if there was this age limit? Also, the facilities were old and dilapidated esp. the cabinet. And there was not even a complimentary water in the room. I takes almost 1 hour for our breakfast to be delivered, even though the hotel staff told us to wait for only 30 minutes. I have booked other hotels with better services at the same price. Plus, there's no elevator and our room was on the 3rd floor, just imagine our effort going up & down, esp. when carrying something like pasalubongs or luggages.
