"We couldn’t believe the size of this room for what we paid. The building itself was a bit dated but the room was clean and the bathroom and kitchenette were modern. It was a great homebase to explore along the Moselle. The check-in process was basically handled by another hotel and we had to find our own parking down the road but nothing was too big of a hassle. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Set adjacent to the river, this motel style hotel is perfect for exploring the local area. A short walk to the town center or river cruise berth. Ample car parking right outside your room door. A fantastic outdoor bar and food area by the river. Breakfast is good quality and plentiful. Its our 2nd stay here which says it all. Only small downside.... some of the staff in reception can be a little curt"

"Very nice, family run hotel. The included breakfast was really good and provided a great start to our day in Cochem. I forgot a small power adapter upon check-out and the owners were fantastic helping me get it back the next morning. Even offered another charger in its place before it was located. It's always a pleasant surprise when the communication with a hotel is so easy and direct. Would highly recommend Hotel Zehnthof."

"The room was well appointed. I wish the air conditioning went a little cooler, but that was a common issue in Germany (not specific to this hotel). The room was very clean. The hotel offers an expensive laundry service, where they charge per article of clothing. We were traveling for a couple of weeks and needed to do a load of laundry so this was not an appropriate option for us. I wish they had self service laundry. The closest laundromat was almost an hour away."

"This was a very nice place to stay before an early morning flight the next day. It was only a 4 minute drive to the airport parking. We slept well in a spacious double room."

"Room was very spacious and clean. There is little to no phone coverage/internet that works very well but this seems to be a whole of Germany thing. The gardens are lovely and the room had all amenities needed."

"Very friendly staff and very helpful, they genuinely want you to have a nice time. The location is beautiful as well as the breakfast was delicious. The room was really spacious, even the corridor leading to the room. Bike rental was easy and inexpensive, beautiful area to go cycling with many cycle routes."
