"Beautiful hotel conveniently located within walking distance of the major sites. The rooftop restaurant had an amazing view of the Acropolis and the food was delicious. The doorman Michael was incredibly kind and considerate!! Not only did he call a taxi for us he also got us chairs and bottles of water for our wait. On top of that when the taxi arrived he offered his hand to help us stand- what a gentleman!! "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Electra Metropolis. The location is fantastic with lots of restaurants, bars and shopping within walking distance in the Plaka neighborhood. You can also walk to the Acropolis) and we ordered our tickets in advance to avoid the line. The highlight for us was the rooftop bar / restaurant with incredible views of the Acropolis lat night and in the morning. There is also a rooftop pool. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and you could sit inside or outside. We arranged pickup from the airport through the hotel beforehand which made getting to the hotel stress-free. "

"This was a great place to stay however, I came during a hot part of the summer and the pool was not available. This would’ve been fine had I been made to know to this prior to my arrival. My party was tired from a super long trip. I thought I would just spend the day swimming while I waited for them to nap, but instead, I sat in the lobby and walked around. There’s not a ton to do around the hotel and I didn’t want to sightsee without my family. My rate also included the use of a pool. However, the breakfast was delicious, the staff was very kind, the property itself is absolutely beautiful! I would stay here again and again!"

"Location is good, close to acropolis. Neighborhood kind of bad, but another 2 blocks and it is ok. Hotel has 24hr surveillance so it is safe. Price very good, many options to eat around and next door is nice bar."
