"Visited Four Seasons Vilamoura with my partner over the last week or so but this was actually my 10th time visiting the hotel (though my partner's first!) Four Seasons is an absolutely stunning hotel and, as the title suggests, is a true home away from home without being a cliché. The staff are all so polite and professional from check-in to check-out and everything in between and their English is impeccable. Breakfast buffet has a good selection of hot and cold options, tea, coffee, juices and all the condiments you could want. The pool bar too is great for food and snacks during the day with the option to pay as you go or add it to the room tab to be paid on check-out. We didn't eat evening meals at the hotel and I haven't tended to over the years, no fault of the hotel just prefer to have a change of scenery for the evening and head to the marina which is a 20 minute stroll away or even shorter taxi ride, or even the local Old Village which has a small selection of bars and restaurants. Four Seasons is one of the safest and cleanest hotels I have stayed in, staff are always on hand and rooms are tidied/cleaned every day, there is barrier entry to the hotel requiring a fob you get on your room keys. The rooms are the biggest in any hotel I have stayed at - whether the studios or one-bed apartments (I've not stayed the 2 or 3 beds). They are well equipped with everything you could need (ran out of characters!)"

"Fantastic spot for families. Beautifully decorated. Spacious room was with full kitchens. Balconies for fresh air and A/C! Nice amenities including a small pool. Walkable to old town Faro. Just perfect all around. We were a little nervous pulling in. The streets are dirty, but once you get past that’s it’s lovely. Very close to the airport too. Highly recommend. "

"Easy 10 minute walk to the airport whatever time of day. Excellent and very helpful staff on duty. We had a toasted sandwich and a drink but other dining options next door or a supermarket close by. Added bonus was the swimming pool"

"Incredible hotel with amazing views. Plenty of pools to enjoy. Jessica at the front desk was extremely helpful with giving us recommendations. Patricia in the restaurant was so nice and friendly. The entire staff could not do enough for us. The breakfast had everything you can think of and it was fresh and delicious. Can’t say enough about this hotel. Hope to return ."

"I think this hotel has the most comfortable bed and pillow for side sleepers! The bathroom was also the most gorgeous modern bathroom I have ever seen with copper/rose gold fixtures and has an amazing rain shower. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful with many choices. The onsite restaurant Forno Nero was also great! And the rooftop pool with lounge is a must visit. It was also a nice touch for complementary car shuttle to the train station. So for sure, this is truly a 5 star hotel. Treat yourself!"
