The Wilder Brook apartment @ The Devonian

The Wilder Brook Apartment at The Devonian is an ideal getaway for those looking for a relaxing, quiet holiday base, yet close to the restaurants and bars benefiting the town and a good central point for experiencing the delights of the North Devon area.
Our spacious self-contained apartment is situated above our guest house (The Devonian). It occupies the entire top floor with plenty of space for 4 people. Please note that there is a total of 36 steps over 4 flights of stairs to reach the private entrance to the apartment. The apartment overlooks our acre of woodland and gardens with some stunning views down the valley. The spacious apartment is very well appointed. It has two en-suite bedrooms; one room has a king bed with an en-suite shower room. This bedroom is fitted with oak furniture. The second bedroom has a double bed, also with en-suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom with bath/overhead shower for that luxury soak after a hard day’s activity. The apartment has a very comfortable lounge with a smart TV and Blu-ray player with a selection of good old-fashioned DVDs for you to chill to in the evenings. Off the lounge is a cosy snug with a pool table (restricted hours of use) and a good selection of books and board games. The kitchen/dining room is fitted with appliances including an electric fan oven, gas hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen also has a window seat with some great views. The apartment has its own self-contained gas fired central heating and hot water. The property sits in an acre of grounds with both woodland and gardens at the rear of the house that lead down to the West Wilder Brook. The communal gardens are shared with our guest house residents along with the hot tub and seating areas. Within the guest house there is a bar, gym and sauna which again you are more than welcome to share with our guest house residents when available. There is parking on the drive for 6 cars, with further unrestricted parking on the quiet road outside. The drive can be challenging so feel free to park on the road.
