"Our stay at the Ryokan Tsuchi to Ito was nothing short of a dream. The ryokan itself is beautiful with gorgeous details and comfort in every corner. The host, Kimi, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, and provided wonderful recommendations as we spent our days exploring Nagano.

"The best place to stay in Matsumoto. Rhe staff is great! The location is very peaceful, and the house is very nice. Thank you for letting us stay with you."

"The staff was really nice and helpful"

"Dated but adequate. A barebones hotel that is convenient and comfortable for a quick, one night stay. The hotel has an excellent selection for breakfast and provides a shuttle service to the train station. Sadly the front lobby staff is not very friendly and definitely not as helpful as all of the other hotels that I visited on my trip. They also do not provide complimentary water as was listed on their website !"
