Ijevan was Armenia's first Soviet town and even though it and you can witness this just by walking around town and admiring the decaying architecture.

One of my favorite spots in town was this abandoned Ferris Wheel in the outskirts of the city.

"From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that instantly set the tone for our entire stay.
